When I planned my own wedding, I was working full-time while organizing a partially DIY celebration.

My husband lived overseas and flew in shortly before the ceremony.

We already had a courthouse wedding two years earlier and welcomed our daughter eleven and a half months after that, all while still finding our rhythm again after COVID-19.

And much more.

Looking back at that day,

It was beautiful. I wouldn’t change a thing.

But I was running on two or three hours of sleep and juggling logistics instead of simply enjoying the moments leading up to it.

That is when I realized something important.

Every bride deserves someone fully protecting her peace that day, and I am so grateful I had people. (bridesmaids + friends)
